1. Who we are
Orange Digital Marketing Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing agency registered in England and Wales under company number 13291109. Our registered office and trading address is 3 Page Court, Page Close, Staple Hill, Bristol, BS16 5NY, United Kingdom.
We are the data controller for the personal information described below. This policy explains what we collect when you visit semorange.com or contact us, why we hold it, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You can reach us by email at semorangeinfo@gmail.com or by phone on +44 7586 352908.
2. What we collect
This website has no contact form, no user accounts and no online shop. We do not take payments through it, and we do not run analytics, advertising or profiling trackers on it. There are only two ways we come to hold information about you:
- Information you send us directly. If you email or telephone us, we hold your name, the contact details you use, and whatever you choose to tell us about your business or your enquiry.
- Technical information from our web server. Like every website, ours keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These are created automatically and are used for security and fault-finding, not to identify you.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and to take steps towards a contract with you — Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR.
- To deliver and administer the services you have engaged us for — Article 6(1)(b).
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults — Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in running a secure site.
We do not send marketing emails, we do not buy or sell mailing lists, and we do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell personal information. We share it only with the providers we need in order to operate:
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — our web hosting provider. Server logs are held on their infrastructure in the European Union.
- Google LLC (Gmail) — our business email runs on Gmail, so any message you send us is received and stored on Google’s servers, which may be outside the UK, including in the United States. Google’s privacy policy applies to that processing.
- Google Maps — our Contact page embeds a Google map. When that page loads, the map is requested from Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This is also covered by Google’s privacy policy.
Where information is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK adequacy regulations or, for transfers to the United States, on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to comply with a court order or a request from a regulator.
5. Cookies
This website sets no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies of its own. Our caching and SSL components may set a strictly necessary cookie so that pages are served correctly; these do not follow you across other websites. The only third-party content on the site is the Google map on the Contact page. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries and correspondence are kept for up to 24 months from our last contact with you. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, we keep the records for 6 years after that relationship ends, to meet HMRC and accounting requirements. Server logs are rotated and deleted by our hosting provider, normally within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what we hold about you and receive a copy, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object where we rely on legitimate interests, and to receive your information in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email semorangeinfo@gmail.com. We will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF — ico.org.uk — or 0303 123 1113.
8. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
